EVA JOENS-WOMACK, * Sep. 23, 1908 – June 24, 2002
EAGLE BUTTE — Eva Womack, age 93, of Eagle Butte, SD, passed away Monday, June 24, 2002, at Rapid City Regional Hospital, after a short illness.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2002, at the All Saints Catholic Church in Eagle Butte, SD, with Rev. Wayne Olson officiating. Burial was in the United Eagle Butte Cemetery under the direction of the Luce Funeral Home of Eagle Butte. Visitation was one-half hour prior to services at the church.
Eva J. Joens was born at Dennison, Iowa on September 23, 1908, to Alvina (Schlie) and Hans Joens, Sr.
On March 17, 1928, she married Erich H. Brueschke. To this union four children were born, Gertrude, Patsy, Dorothy, and Erich.
On October 25, 1957, Eva married Lee Womack. They lived two miles northeast of Eagle Butte until Lee passed away on April 11, 1999. She then moved to Eagle Butte, where she resided until she went to Fairmont Grand Manor in Rapid City, SD, where she remained until her death.
Eva's memory will be cherished by her three children: Gertrude (Wayne) Martin of Custer, SD, Patsy (Robert) Weaver of Corona, CA, and Dr. Erich E. (Fran) Brueschke of Hinsdale, IL.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, one infant son, one daughter: Dorothy Hunt, one son in-law: Dean Hunt, four sisters, one brother, and one grandson: Jerry Hunt.

RONALD EUGENE WOMACK, Oct. 4, 1949 - July 10, 2000
PIERRE - Ronald Eugene Womack, 50, Pierre, died Monday, July 10, 2000, at Porter Adventist Hospital in Denver.
He was born Oct. 4, 1949, in Oakland, Calif., and graduated from Rapid City High School. He worked as a full-time truck driver and, as he often said, "a part-time outdoorsman." He loved the Montana mountains.
Survivors include his wife, Jackie Womack, Pierre; his children, Rona Knight and Randy Knight, both of Washington state; and Casey Knight, Rapid City; his mother, Iris Womack, Rapid City; his brother, Charles, and his wife, Nancy Womack; and his sister, Mary ,and her husband, Curt Ketchum, all of Rapid City; stepmother, Doris Womack, Livingston, Texas; stepchildren, Dell Gamble, John Gamble, Jeff Sena and Shonna Sena, all of Denver; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles B. Womack; and his grandparents, Albert and Anna Gilles.
He was one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 15, at Pine Hills Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Rapid City.
